Hello, I’m Vanessa

Dixie Embroidery has a very special meaning to me because everything I know about embroidery was taught to me by my grandparents. I had the opportunity to spend about a year learning from them, taking in everything they were willing to teach me and bringing all of those lessons together to create something of my own. Shortly after I took over the business, I unfortunately lost one of my grandparents, and the other eventually moved away. Since then, I’ve been learning, growing, and running Dixie Embroidery on my own while carrying everything they taught, with me.

Around the same time, I was graduating college with a degree in business and trying to figure out where I wanted to take my career. I realized that embroidery gave me an opportunity to combine my business education with something I genuinely enjoy, being creative and working with people. It also allowed me to provide a service that fills a very specific niche here in Southern Utah.

I’m a people person, I’m creative, and I’m always willing to try to find a way to help. I love getting to know my customers, hearing what they have in mind, and figuring out how we can make their ideas work. Dixie Embroidery may be a small business, but I put a lot of heart into every project, and I’m proud to continue what my grandparents taught me while creating something that is uniquely my own.

Quality & Attention to Detail

I take pride in doing things carefully and paying attention to the small details. I want every finished project to look polished, well-made, and something you’ll be proud to use or give.

 Personal Service

Because I’m a one-person business, you’ll work directly with me from start to finish. I take the time to listen to what you’re looking for and make sure your project feels personal to you.

 Affordable & Accessible

I believe custom embroidery shouldn’t have to be expensive. I work to keep my prices reasonable so you can create something special without having to spend a fortune.
